On Earth Day 2024, we chose optimism.

 

An estimated 2 billion people see the Google's search homepage daily. We used that moment to showcase the cinematic natural beauty of this planet we call home, focusing on the real-time  stories of progress being made to protect it.

 

Our team scoured Google Earth manually for hours, to find over 600+ natural letter forms from the tapestry of our planet. A real labour of love to tell a story of beauty, progress, genuine hope.

 

The optimistic narrative landed like a breath of fresh air—this Doodle exceeded both Google Doodle, Earth Day Doodle and social channel benchmarks.

 

That's the power of optimism.
